Our Graduate Schools

HGSFP

The Heidelberg Graduate School for Physics is the main provider of doctoral programs for physicists at the university of Heidelberg.

HighRR

The Research Training Group High Resolution and High Rate Detectors in Nuclear and Particle Physics is dedicated to research and education in pure detector science; its particular emphasis is on the instrumentation of novel experiments in nuclear, particle and high energy physics.

IMPRS - PTFS

The International Max Planck Research School for Precision Tests of Fundamental Symmetries in Particle Physics, Nuclear Physics, Atomic Physics and Astroparticle Physics at the University of Heidelberg is a combined effort of the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics (MPIK) and the University of Heidelberg. The scientific basis of the IMPRS is fundamental physics, which has the goal to identify, understand and explain the most basic laws of Nature on a broad range: low-energy neutrino and Dark Matter investigations, ultraprecise ion traps and storage rings, or with high-energy LHC physics.

RTG

The Research Training Group Particle Physics Beyond the Standard Model includes students from particle physics and cosmology, in both experimental and theoretical groups.
